This rate will be available when registration for the APNA Annual Conference opens in June. You must be a confirmed registrant to obtain housing under the APNA room block.

The River Walk hotel anchors San Antonio's fabulous Rivercenter Mall, with upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment. The Alamo, one of the nation's most storied and revered landmarks, is within easy walking distance from the hotel. Enjoy exceptional dining at the sizzling Sazo's Latin Grill, offering Spanish-fusion cuisine in the chicest setting in the city. The hotel is convenient to many San Antonio-area attractions, including the Alamodome, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the San Antonio Zoo, and much more.
All hotel room reservations must be guaranteed to a credit card or payment for one nights room and tax, currently 16.75%.
All reservations should be made directly with APNA’s registration company by 5:00 PM EDT on September 13, 2013. Beginning September 16, 2013 contact the hotel directly to make a new reservation or to change or cancel an existing reservation.
The APNA Conference rate is not guaranteed after September 13.
Must provide credit card or full payment via check or cash at hotel check-in. The credit card provided on this form, online, over the phone or via email at the time of registration is for guarantee purposes only. You are required to present a credit card or check or cash at check-in.
Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. Checkout time is by 12:00 p.m.
After September 16, 2013 call the hotel directly to change, cancel or make a new reservation, the phone number can be found on the hotel’s website.
Guest Room Information
The hotel rooms include premium satellite cable, LCD TVs, pay-per-view options, spacious work areas and high speed internet access. The rooms are freshly decorated and suites offer fine decorative touches and Marriott's Plug-in Technology. Meeting attendees will appreciate two phone lines, voicemail, and speakerphone in each room. This hotel has a smoke-free policy. APNA attendees that reserve their hotel room through APNA’s registration and housing company receive complimentary internet access in their guest room.
Room cancellations must occur 48 hours (2 days) prior to your check in date. Any cancellations after this time are subject to the first night’s room and tax charges. When cancelling a reservation by telephone with the hotel, record the date, cancellation number, and the name of the person accepting the cancellation. A portion of the room rate will be allocated towards conference expenses. Failure to cancel within the appropriate time frame will result in a charge (or forfeiture of your deposit) for one night’s room and tax.

By Air: There are more than 100 flights daily to San Antonio. For flight information, transit services and other information, visit the San Antonio International Airport website at www.sanantonio.gov/aviation. Shuttle service to the downtown area is $18 one-way or $32 round-trip.
APNA Discounts available with select airlines:
United: Book the reservation online at www.united.com. Before beginning the search, in the “Offer Code” box enter ZQC7871899 to receive up to a 13% discount. Depending on the type of ticket booked, the discount will vary.
American Airlines: Book the reservation online at www.aa.com. After selecting your flight, you will have the option to enter a “Promotion Code.” The APNA code is 72H3AP and a 5% discount will be applied.
By Car: San Antonio is centrally located in south-central Texas, only 1.5 hours from Austin, 3.5 hours from Houston and 4.5 hours from Dallas/Fort Worth.
Getting Around Downtown
Downtown travel is a breeze on open-air streetcars that are authentic reproductions of those that traveled the streets of San Antonio more than 50 years ago. Four streetcar routes stop at top attractions like the Alamo, Spanish Governor's Palace, La Villita and the King William Historic District. The downtown streetcar station at Convention Plaza provides convenient access for travelers.
Rio San Antonio Cruises operates open-air river cruisers that tour the River Walk, the closest ticket booth is located at Rivercenter Mall, which is connected to the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter Hotel, APNA’s headquarter hotel. They also offer taxi service to approximately 40 spots along the River Walk for a unique way to get from place to place. Drivers have tickets on board for taxi service or you may purchase them at any ticket location.

Hotel Parking: The self-parking rate at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter is currently $25 per car, per night or $33 per car, per night for valet parking. Please check hotel’s website for current parking charges.
Convention Center: There is no official Convention Center parking. There is, however, the Marina garage at 850 E Commerce directly across from the Lila Cockrell Theatre, and the SAWS parking lot at 1001 E. Market St.. All parking is available for public use for a fee. Map

Packing for APNA
For the conference, casual / business casual clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended. For your comfort, we suggest that you carry a light sweater or shawl with you throughout the day as the session room temps may vary.
Weather & Attire
October average highs are in the 80s in San Antonio and lows are in the 60s. San Antonio has 300 days of sunshine a year, so remember sunglasses and a hat!
