Janet Murdick
I am an ANCC certified APRN CNS with close to 30 years experience in psychiatric nursing. During those years, I have attained experience in many areas. I worked for 16 years as manager of behavioral services for Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, Mo,, 7 years as a supervisor at St. Anthony's Hyland Behavioral Health Center, and was an independent contractor doing Level II Screenings with Bock Associates. I have served as an advisor to Pyramid Home Health, and taught nursing classes at Central Methodist University. For the past 10 years, I have worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse with Advanced Psychiatric Services in Festus, and see both inpatients and outpatients. I also see residents in RCF's and Skilled Nursing Care Facilities. My experiences are varied, and I feel I have tremendous knowlege regarding both the clinical and the management side of psychiatric nursing. I would like the opportunity to serve as a board member and believe my experiences would make me an asset.
