Important Information for NC-APNA members who are looking to GET INVOLVED

• Anyone interested in helping with MEMBER OUTREACH should contact Beverly Leath (leathb@queens.edu).

• The NCNA would like to put together a SPEAKERS BUREAU. If anyone is interested in participating in this, please contact Beverly Leath (leathb@queens.edu). Please let Beverly know:
• Topics on which you are willing to speak
• Areas of NC where you are willing to travel

• Is anyone willing to help plan and host/sponsor a meeting in the eastern part of NC?

• Anyone interested in attending local NAMI meetings is encouraged to do so as we continue to build our relationship with NAMI. Any information from these meetings that should be passed along the all NC-APNA members can be emailed to Ashley Christine Walters (acwalters9@msn.com).

• If you live or work or vacation near Morganton, NC, please come to our next meeting at Broughton Hospital. It will be held in the Avery Conference Center (main building or Broughton with a flag on top of a gold colored dome). Steven B. Corley, Executive Director of the Foothills Area Program will be speaking about the NC State Mental Health Plan.
