The South Carolina Chapter received its charter from APNA in October, 1996.

Mission
To unite psychiatric nurses and APNA members across the state in a quest to increase knowledge and provide support to all nurses -- and to the friends and families of nurses.

Goals
Provide a resource place for members and non-members to get together, share ideas, and communicate across the state catch up on the latest legislative updates--on both state and national levels Increase membership in our state in order to strengthen the voice of psychiatric nursing -- Membership drive in full swing. email jgburkette@scapna.org for information on how to join! Membership
Any APNA member who lives in South Carolina may become a member of the South Carolina Chapter. The local dues are $15 annually.
