Chapter Goals
The International Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association was chartered in October 2002. The Chapter is located in the United Kingdom, but APNA has members in other countries around the world, including, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, The Phillipines, Wales, Manilla, and The Netherlands. It was set up to provide a forum for all those members of APNA who reside outside of the United States.
Mission Statement: To provide a professional forum for psychiatric nurses around the world. To promote research, education, and excellence in clinical practice.
Membership
The International Chapter welcomes all APNA members residing outside the United States to join the international chapter. To become an International Chapter member all you have to do is join the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. All APNA members residing outside of the United States of America are automatically given membership of the International Chapter and are invited to become active in the chapter.
