ABOUT US
The Wyoming State Chapter of APNA was officially recognized in February 2007, beginning with 20 members. While our chapter is still in its infancy, we welcome the participation of all psychiatric nurses from Wyoming and surrounding states. Please join us in building a strong foundation for the future.
PURPOSE
1. Promote and increase the visibility of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing in Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain Region
2. Provide Educational opportunities to Nurses regarding psychiatric-mental health issues
3. Provide Educational opportunities to the general public regarding psychiatric-mental health issues
4. Participation in Mental Health related legislative and practice issues
MEMBERSHIP
Any APNA member who resides in Wyoming or surrounding states may become a member of the Wyoming Chapter. At present, there are NO CHAPTER DUES, so the procedure for joining is simple:just join APNA at http://www.apna.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=1 then contact the Wyoming Chapter through the contacts listed below to have your name and address added to our roster/mailing list. (Contacting the Wyoming Chapter as soon as you join APNA will avoid any delay in communication about educational and fun events as well as networking with other professionals who share your interests).
