Objectives

Upon completion of this (workshop, seminar), the participant will be able to:

  • Define Vicarious Trauma (VT), Secondary Trauma, Burnout and Compassion Fatigue.
  • Identify warning signs & symptoms of VT/Secondary Trauma.
  • Discuss strategies for healthcare providers to manage stress levels.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15633, for 1 contact hour.

Course meets the qualifications for 1 hour of continuing education credit for MFTs and /or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider #PCE 4945

APNA members and non-members are welcome, including psychiatric RNs, Nurse Managers, supervisors, MFTs, LCSWs, and any clinician that wishes to enhance his/her practice by networking with others in the field.

  • This Roundtable is at no cost to APNA members.  (Membership card requested.)
  • The cost to non-members for CEUs is $10.00 per CE hour, payable at the time of the event.  (Please make check payable to “APNA CA Chapter.”)
