Virtual Nursing Academy APNA Champions for Smoking Cessation
Supporting innovative smoking cessation strategies for the populations we serve.
APNA is pleased to announce the members of the new Virtual Nursing Academy of APNA Champions for Smoking Cessation. As a part of our effort to assist psychiatric-mental health nurses in prioritizing and providing evidence-based tobacco dependence interventions, APNA, in partnership with the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, is supporting the following members as they implement promising grassroots smoking cessation initiatives. Each member of the Virtual Nursing Academy is receiving an honorarium of $1,000 and complimentary registration to the APNA 28th Annual Conference, October 22-25, 2014 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
