The principle task of the Nominating Committee is selecting a slate of candidates for the Annual APNA Election and to oversee the electoral process. The Nominating Committee consists of the board appointed chair from APNA membership, one Board member appointed by the Board of Directors, one board appointee from the membership, and three members in good standing elected annually by ballot.

You can also get involved in APNA at the local chapter level.
The APNF Grant Review Committee evaluates research proposals submitted by APNA members. Priority for funding is based upon the project’s scientific merit, potential for knowledge development, and relevance to the advancement of the knowledge and practice of psychiatric-mental health nursing. The members of the Awards & Recognition Committee review both Annual Awards nominations and the APNA Janssen Student Scholarship applications.
