We are pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the APNF Research Grants. Through its grant program, the American Psychiatric Nursing Foundation aids scientific research and contributions which add to the knowledge and practice of psychiatric-mental health nursing. This year the Foundation is assisting two members who submitted outstanding research proposals: each received a $5,000 grant and a complimentary registration to the APNA 26th Annual Conference.

2013 APNF RESEARCH GRANT

The American Psychiatric Nursing Foundation (APNF) is pleased to continue the research grants program to enhance scientific contributions advancing the knowledge and practice of psychiatric-mental health nursing. APNF established these awards to seed new investigators who are beginning their research careers and will award up to five (5) individual grants of up to $5,000 per award. As such, priority will be given to investigators who are early in their research trajectories and who have not previously had major intra- or extramural funding.

A message from Grayce Sills:

	Dear Colleagues,

I need your help! The APNF is continuing the fundraising campaign we began at the 2012 Annual Conference in Pittsburgh. If every member contributed “a dime a day, two nickels or 10 pennies a day” - an annual contribution of $36.50 - we could make a significant impact on APNA and future initiatives benefiting our profession.
