Any APNA member who resides in New Mexico is automatically a member of the New Mexico Chapter. If you are interested in joining or renewing your membership, please see the Membership tab on APNA’s home page for more information about the application process and dues.

Scholarship Opportunity Scholarship Available

The APNA New Mexico Chapter is pleased to sponsor one New Mexico ADN, AAS, BSN, MSN, PhD, or DNP nursing student to attend the APNA 31st Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona this fall. Expenses covered include:
      •Conference registration fee (for regular conference dates 10/19-21)
      •Hotel (3 nights beginning 10/18 and checking out on 10/21)
      •Miscellaneous expenses

Criteria for Consideration
Student must be an ADN, AAS, BSN, MSN, PhD, or DNP nursing student in good standing enrolled in a nursing program in New Mexico.

Application Process
To apply, students must submit a one page letter answering the following questions by April 15, 2017. Selected student will be announced at the APNA New Mexico Chapter Conference on April 22, 2017.
      •Why do you want to be a psychiatric-mental health nurse?
      •Why do you want to attend the APNA 31st Annual Conference in Arizona?
      •What you will do with the information you learn from attending the conference?
