APNA Nebraska Chapter

Mission Statement

Under the guidance of the National American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the APNA Nebraska Chapter promotes psychiatric-mental health nurses to improve equity, inclusion, and diversity in the delivery of mental health services for individuals, families, groups, and communities.

Purpose Statement

The chapter provides a local forum and networking opportunities for psychiatric-mental health nurses and professionals to develop innovative ways to promote the role, practice, and standards of psychiatric-mental health nursing.

Membership

The APNA Nebraska Chapter was formed in July 2003. APNA Members who reside in Nebraska are automatically members of the chapter. Membership options are available for nursing students pursuing a RN degree and retired registered nurses. Affiliate memberships are available for individuals who are committed to mental health but are not a nurse.

If you are not receiving information via e-mail from the chapter, please contact chaptersupport@apna.org with your updated contact information. We want to be sure our members receive the information they need to benefit fully from their chapter membership!
