APNA Administrative Council

Vision

Through support, clinical resources, and communications, the APNA Administrative Council fosters a vibrant community that facilitates collaboration and communication among psychiatric mental health nurse administrators and leaders, serves as a clinical resource in achieving shared goals, and assists in the use of evidence-based practices and innovative systems for exceptional and safe patient care and an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment for staff.


Goals

  • To provide psychiatric-mental health nurses in leadership positions the opportunity to share information, best practices, and mentorship.
  • To provide the opportunity for leaders in psychiatric-mental health nursing to network and impact key practice issues in collaboration with other councils and APNA leadership.
