Personality Disorders Task Force

This new initiative established by the APNA Board of Directors will develop clinical pearls for working with individuals with personality disorders and help identify best practices that will help prepare nurses to better address the challenging behavioral response patterns of individuals with various personality disorders. These pearls will be created within an overarching framework that is trauma informed and stigma defeating. Each task force will represent one of the clusters of personality disorders, Cluster A, Cluster B and Cluster C.

Cluster A  (Paranoid, Schizoid, and Schizotypal Personality Disorders)

Cluster B (Borderline, Narcissistic, Histrionic, and Antisocial Personality Disorders)

Cluster C (Avoidant, Dependent, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorders)
