Vision Provide a forum for the expression of the voices of RNs and APRNs regarding issues related to psychiatric-mental health nursing practice and provide input as needed to other councils with regards to administration, education, and research. Goals APNA Practice Council members recognize current issues facing PMH-APRNs and PMH-RNs and continue to: Monitor and advocate for the care of persons with mental health conditions in any setting, meeting the acuity of the patient with expertise of the care delivered. Monitor and advocate for PMH-APRNs and PMH-RNs to remain active in care delivery and planning across the nation and beyond.
