APNA represents more than 10,000 psychiatric-mental health nurses who are at all levels of education from basic to doctoral, and work in a wide variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, research, education, administration, clinical, private practice, military, and forensic.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & DUES
Regular Membership: $135.00
Regular membership is available to those individuals who are registered nurses, pay dues, and are engaged in pursuits which further the purposes of the Association. Automatic monthly payment option ($12.50/month) and discounted 2-year membership are available.
Full-time Military (Armed Forces) on active duty: $75.00

Affiliate Membership: $135.00
Affiliate members are all other mental health professionals who are not registered nurses. Affiliate members receive all benefits of membership, but may not vote or hold office.
International Membership: $135.00
International members are nurses who do not reside in the United States. International members are entitled to all privileges and benefits of membership.
Retired Membership: $75.00
Membership is available for retired registered nurses who are interested in being involved in the psychiatric-mental health nursing community. They receive all benefits of regular membership.
Student Membership: $25.00
Student membership is for members who are engaged in full-time study in a nursing degree program and show evidence of student status. These members may not seek election to the Board but may serve on committees/task forces. Student members who are registered nurses may vote.
