Goals for 2010-2011
The newly established APNA Child and Adolescent Council for 2010-2011 will work collaboratively to respond to membership's questions or concerns about best practice, current policy and procedures. The council will advise the board on all things child and adolescent, acknowledge APNA members who are positive role models for Child & Adolescent nursing practice and identify avenues for APNA to provide and maintain a strong national presence. Key initiatives include: promoting evidence-based practice, research, education, practice and policy effecting children, adolescents and their families.
