Seclusion & Restraint Task Force

Vision and Goals

This task force will review and update the 2018 APNA Position Statement on the Use of Seclusion & Restraint and the 2014 APNA Seclusion & Restraint Standards of Practice, with meetings each month to touch base on progress. APNA members with a passion for the topic, an interest in advocacy for PMH patients, and an understanding of the importance of milieu therapy to maintain therapeutic environments are ideal participants for this task force.
