Nursing Continuing Professional Development*

The APNA 21st Annual Clinical Psychopharmacology Institute will offer up to 21.5 contact hours in pharmacology.

ANCC nursing continuing professional development contact hours are awarded based on number of sessions attended and evaluations completed. To receive full credit for a session, you must attend the entire session and complete an online evaluation.

The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Educational Learning Outcome

Integrate psychopharmacology into the full scope of psychiatric-mental health nursing practice for the care of persons across the lifespan.

Learn Live or On Demand

You have the option to attend and earn contact hours for the sessions during the conference or on demand afterwards – or a mix of both!

Recordings of sessions will be available in the APNA eLearning Center 2-3 months after the conference. Access to session recordings is included in your registration. If a particular session was missed during the live conference, attendees will then be able to come back to their account on the APNA eLearning Center to view the session, then complete the post test and evaluation in order to generate a contact hours certificate.

Online Evaluations

Evaluations for the APNA Annual Clinical Psychopharmacology Institute must be entered online in order to earn contact hours. You’ll be able to complete them in real-time as you go, at the end of the day, or after the conference. You can jot down your responses as you attend sessions, then log in at your convenience to complete the evaluations online. Once you finish completing evaluations for the sessions you’ve attended, you’ll then complete the Overall Evaluation, which will unlock your NCPD Contact Hours Certificate. Press “Post Final Credits & Create Certificate”, and your Certificate will be pre-populated with your information and contact hours earned. You can have it emailed to your inbox, save a pdf version to your computer, or print it (printers will not be available at the on-site evaluations stations).

Evaluation Deadline: July 24, 2023
