The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is a membership organization dedicated to psychiatric-mental health RNs and APRNs who work in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, research, education, administration, private practice, military, and more. In APNA, psychiatric-mental health nurses find their home for the education, resources, and support they need to provide crucial mental health care. Regular Membership: $145.00

Regular membership is available to those individuals who are registered nurses, pay dues, and are engaged in pursuits which further the purposes of the Association. Regular members may vote, serve on committees, and seek election to the Board of Directors. Discounted 2 and 3-year memberships are available.

Affiliate Membership: $145.00

Affiliate members are all other mental health professionals who are not registered nurses. Affiliate members receive all benefits of membership, but may not vote or hold office.

International Membership: $145.00

International members are nurses who do not reside in the United States. International members are entitled to all privileges and features of membership.

ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY Rate: $75.00

Members who are full-time U.S. Military (Armed Forces DOD) on active duty pay $75.00. They receive all features of regular membership. You must show proof of active duty – Please call us at 855-863-APNA (2762) or email membership@apna.org to apply for Military Membership.

Retired Membership: $75.00

Membership is available for retired (as defined by Merriam-Webster) registered nurses who are interested in being involved in the psychiatric-mental health nursing community. They receive all features of regular membership.

Student Membership: $35.00

Student membership is for members who are engaged in full-time study in a nursing degree program and show evidence of student status. These members may not seek election to the Board but may serve on committees, councils, or task forces. Student members who are registered nurses may vote.
