Safety at the APNA Annual Conference
APNA is dedicated to providing a safe and inviting conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. APNA works with stakeholders and vendors to assure the safety of attendees in the conference location each year. For example, APNA is ensuring a security presence at the Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center for the duration of this year’s conference. APNA has also reached out to the Orlando Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB) regarding safety concerns related to being in the state of Florida at this time. The Orlando CVB has communicated that the city takes the safety of its visitors very seriously, and that the city “continue[s] to be a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive community”. If you have concerns, please reach out to us at inform@apna.org.
