Your Contact Hours
| You can earn up to 115+ total contact hours with your APNA 37th Annual Conference registration. Please note that not all sessions and activities are awarded contact hours. |
During the Live Event
Earn up to 23.75 contact hours for attending and evaluating sessions and for time spent viewing and evaluating the poster presentations.
- Nursing continuing professional development contact hours are earned based on the
number of sessions attended and evaluations completed. - Contact hours are calculated on 60-minutes of educational instruction/content.
- To receive full credit for a session, you must attend the entire session, complete an
online evaluation, and generate your certificate by November 14.
Up to 4 Contact Hours with posters: Posters are listed on the APNA evaluations site in order of poster number. Attest that you have reviewed the poster prior to evaluating and claiming NCPD contact hours. The site will calculate the contact hours you earn based on the number of posters you evaluate:
- 6-8 posters = 1.0 contact hour
- 9-11 posters = 1.5 contact hours
- 12-14 posters = 2.0 contact hours
- 15-17 posters = 2.5 contact hours
- 18-20 posters = 3.0 contact hours
- 21-23 posters = 3.5 contact hours
- 24+ posters = 4.0 contact hours
Earn up to 4 contact hours for attending symposia during their scheduled times. Evaluations and contact hours are provided by symposia sponsors and are not on the APNA evaluations site.
After the Conference
Starting in November/December: Earn up to 90+ more contact hours at no additional cost with session recordings. Using the APNA eLearning Center, access handouts, presentations, and earn NCPD contact hours for the sessions you missed. APNA will email you as sessions become available with instructions on how to access them at no cost.
