APNA Ohio Chapter
Chapter Goals
Ohio was the first state Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, receiving our charter on October 14, 1993 at APNA’s Annual Conference. The mission of the Ohio Chapter is the promote the professional development of psychiatric-mental health nurses through networking and education. As a chapter, Ohio is divided into five regions: Southwest, Columbus, Southeast, Northeast, and Northwest. It is a goal of the Chapter that each region will have its own networking and educational opportunities in addition to State-wide meetings.
