APNA Annual Awards
The APNA Annual Awards recognize APNA members who demonstrate excellence in psychiatric-mental health nursing practice, education, research, leadership, community efforts, and more.
APNA Board of Directors Student Scholarship
Through this program, the APNA Board of Directors provides graduate and undergraduate students interested in psychiatric-mental health nursing with registration, travel and lodging expenses to attend the APNA Annual Conference, one year complimentary membership in the APNA, and numerous opportunities for mentorship and networking.
APNA Research Grant
Each year, the APNA Research Grants program provides funding to seed new investigators as they begin their scholarly careers. Proposals funded may fall within two categories: (1) Research studies to generate new knowledge to advance psychiatric mental health nursing and (2) Evidence-based practice change or quality improvement projects to apply evidence to practice.
As a part of our effort to assist psychiatric-mental health nurses in prioritizing and providing evidence-based tobacco dependence interventions, APNA, in partnership with the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, is supporting 13 members as they implement promising grassroots smoking cessation initiatives.
Awards & Recognition Committee
The members of the Awards & Recognition Committee review both Annual Awards nominations and the APNA Board of Directors Student Scholarship applications.
