Annual Conference Call for Reviewers
Help select a conference program that speaks to your peers!
The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is seeking APNA members to participate in a peer review of abstracts submitted for presentation at the APNA 33rd Annual Conference New Orleans, LA this October 2-5, 2019. Abstract reviewers evaluate submissions based upon set criteria and help determine which presentation formats are best suited for each abstract's content. Nurses with RN or advanced practice preparation are invited to apply.
Abstract reviewers must hold current APNA membership and show evidence of clinical and/or research expertise and scholarship. Nurses with RN or advanced practice preparation are invited to apply.
Members of the 2019 Scholarly Review Committee must be available to complete 6-12 abstract reviews during March 8-25, 2019. Each abstract review consists of approximately 10 ratings and a comments section and is completed using an online evaluation tool.
How to Apply
To apply to join the 2019 Scholarly Review Committee, please complete the below form by February 19th. Note: If you participated on the Scholarly Review Committee last year, you do not need to reapply.
If selected to join the Scholarly Review Committee, you will be asked to review abstracts for one or more of the following presentation formats: pre-conference sessions, concurrent sessions, mini concurrent sessions, and posters. We will make every effort to assign you to abstracts based on your area(s) of expertise, as indicated on your application form - please be sure to complete this section (indicated with an *) of the application.
