2021 APNA Research Grants Call for Proposals
Deadline: May 18, 2021

The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is now accepting applications for the 2021 APNA Research Grants. Intended to support new researchers’ investigations of evidence-based practice changes, quality improvement projects, or research studies, grants range from $1,000 to $10,000 depending on your needs. Students conducting their thesis, dissertation, or capstone project are also encouraged to apply. The deadline to submit your research proposal is Tuesday, May 18th.

Looking for guidance? Submit a draft of your proposal for preliminary review by members of the APNA Research Council. Send it to councilsupport@apna.org by April 27th for feedback that can then be incorporated into your final submission. All finalized proposals must be submitted online via the submission site by May 18th for consideration by the APNA Research Grants Committee.

Launch your research career while advancing the knowledge and practice of psychiatric-mental health nursing! Past grant recipients have published their work in scholarly journals like JAPNA, secured larger grants based on their initial research, and gained experience in the art of manuscript preparation.
