Telehealth in Mental Health Nursing
Papers are invited that explore the accessibility, usability, and effectiveness of telehealth on mental health outcomes. Accepted submissions might involve the following:
- Original research studies exploring telehealth usage and outcomes among mental health care consumers
- Differences in experience of health inequities in telehealth as compared to in-person care visits
- Discussion papers that explore:
- Telehealth: potential risks and benefits
- Policy recommendations to ensure safe, confidential, and effective telehealth service use
- Innovations in telehealth service delivery in mental health nursing, including the use of technology
- Reviews of the best evidence in telehealth service delivery and care outcomes
- Special populations such as children, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, or persons with disabilities
