Gail has embodied the spirit of PMH nursing in our longstanding relationship as fellow APNA members. She has offered a standing invitation to connect whenever I seek guidance in my APNA activities. Her nonjudgmental approach and generous gift of time have allowed me to openly share my concerns, receive her growth-producing guidance, and act constructively. Most recently, I have consulted Gail about maximizing my service to the APNA Pennsylvania Chapter as Chapter President. The direction I chose as a result of our conversation has, I believe, been beneficial to the chapter and taught me important lessons about humility and determination. I am committed to applying these lessons to future PMH nursing endeavors.

Her nonjudgmental approach and generous gift of time have allowed me to openly share my concerns, receive her growth-producing guidance, and act constructively.

Many nurses benefit from Gail’s interpersonal wisdom, servant leadership, and PMH expertise. Many will continue to draw from her luminosity. Psychiatric-mental health nursing services are strengthened through Gail Stern’s service to our profession.
