Nurses’ Substance Use Education: Massive Open Online Course

Course Goals: 1) to mainstream substance use (SU) content and develop high quality, comprehensive, SU education modules (a continuum of modules, from novice to advanced practitioner) that nurse educators can integrate into their existing curricula, including educational-level specific content (i.e., associate degree [ADN], baccalaureate [BSN/BS], advanced practice [NP and doctor of nursing practice/DNP]); and 2) to increase the composition (ADN to NP/DNP) and number of nurses learning substance-use-specific content.
