Call for Members: APNA Seclusion & Restraint Task Force

Are you passionate about reducing the use of seclusion and restraint, advocating for your patients, and fostering safe environments through milieu therapy?
The APNA Seclusion & Restraint Task Force, recently established by the APNA Board of Directors, seeks APNA member volunteers to review and update the:
- APNA Position Paper on the Use of Seclusion & Restraint
- APNA Seclusion & Restraint Standards of Practice
Through this project, which will take about a year, you can help ensure that these critical resources use current evidence to support safe and person-centered psychiatric-mental health nursing care.
